Advent Legacy III Loudspeakers, Versatile Performers - SOLD

The Advent Legacy speaker was designed as a modernized replacement for Advent’s massively successful “Large Advent” which was introduced in 1968 and sold by the hundreds of thousands. Featuring a 10” long-throw woofer in a sealed acoustic suspension enclosure, and 1” polyamide tweeter, the Legacy become another in a classic line of speakers from Henry Kloss’s former company.  A few years later, the Legacy III improved on the original Legacy design with a taller and modernized cabinet design, ferrofluid filled tweeter for improved power handling, and a dual-voice coil woofer for versatility with solid state and tube amplification.

This set of Legacy III features Advent's signature solid pecan wood top and front decorative panels. The internal crossover capacitors have been replaced with new poly-film capacitors for improved midrange clarity at the crossover point. The woofer has been properly refoamed for many more years of enjoyment.
