The Harman Kardon HK670 “Twin Powered” receiver was HK’s top of the line model from 1979 to 1981 and was its last model with an analog tuner. The original retail price was $550, the equivalent to around $1700 today. The HK670 is rated at 60 watts per channel and some sources say this rating is conservative. In keeping with similarly priced models of the era, this receiver includes connectivity for a number of external sources including two tape loops, auxiliary, and great sounding phono section.  The AM/FM Stereo tuner looks great when illuminated and pulls in stations very well.

This unit is a wonderful example and competes very favorably sound-wise with any competitor from the same era.  Unit has been serviced and cleaned. FM section and phono stage calibrated and recapped. This rexes we is ready to give its new owner years of enjoyment.
