Sansui 7070 Vintage Receiver, Serviced - SOLD

The Sansui 7070 is a powerhouse for a mid-priced receiver. With 60 watts per channel, it can power most speakers with authority and control.  Sold between 1976 and 1979, it’s a great example of Sansui’s sound profile and build quality. The wood-look case and long, illuminated black control panel   give it a very unique look. 

NOTE: The original vinyl wood-grain veneer has been replaced with a lighter color. The unit is very presentable, but does show from close inspection that the veneer is not original. 

This unit has been serviced by Tom Brander, which includes: tuner calibration, output board and power supply board recap, servicing and testing of tone controls, and cleaning of all dials. 

Can be demo’d with confidence in person, with COVID precautions in place.
