It is written as Concept 90 at the end of the model number.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Concept 90 System is a combination of CM1 and CM column sub-bass module. The mounting direction of the CM column can be either front bass reflex or rear bass reflex depending on preference. Its super beneficial when room placement is challenging. The bass modules are equipped with (2) 13 cm cone type woofer units for ultra low band. A 12.6 cm Kevlar cone type mid-woofer is installed for mid-bass response and marks the 1st time B\u0026amp;W used Kevlar for a driver making this the beta driver material for many years to come. The 2.6 cm metal dome type tweeter handles the high range with breathtaking clarity. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe network has a built-in protection mechanism, and B \u0026amp; W's unique APOC (Audio-Powered Overload Circuit) prevents thermal damage to the unit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe enclosure is sealed and B\u0026amp;W's Matrix enclosure is used for the internal structure.\u003cbr\u003eThis system adopts a unique three dimensional structure in which the interior is arranged in a lattice shape, and has high rigidity, thereby eliminating the harmful resonance of the cabinet which can make sound cloudy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSo this system is becoming more and more rare and its totally understandable... it really is a spectacular system with the resolution and midrange of a BBC LS3\/5s coupled with a real world bass module that is both accurate and versatile. It's been playing here with an amazing Sansui AU-11000 and its presentation together is just off the charts in every way. This is undoubtedly one of our favorite speaker systems and audio combinations to date. Just special together. Been totally gone through here by our expert speaker techs and is ready to be the center of someones retro MCM kit. Terrific condition with era-accepted patina.
