Adding to that, Win Burhoe designed drivers that were meant to work together with \"no crossover\", or at least a very minimal high-pass filter for tweeter protection.  These modules consisted of an 8\" paper cone bass driver, and 1\" inverted dome tweeter.  Burhoe would arrange modules in various ways to achieve his desired in-room responses for each application.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe EPI M100v (v = Vinyl Veneer) features all the technological advances made by EPI over their existence. The original Tech HiFi chain of audio (eventually video too) shops must have sold 1000 pair of these themselves and for good reason. They are a simple 2-way speaker done right. You will hear an expressive \u0026amp; extended frequency response common to all EPI speakers. Music doesn't come out sounding like its coming out of a box. There is virtually no exaggeration, or colouration of the signal fed into the speakers.
