Its direct and cross-coupled (patented Audio Research Corporation circuitry) amplification employs an automatic "servo" circuit, so that the DC balance (necessary for peak performance) is always automatically maintained, even through vacuum tube changes.

Output tube bias is not only electronically regulated, but is also front panel adjustable-with indicators-thus completely eliminating uncertainty regarding output tube condition adjustment.
