Standard Shipping: UPS and USPS are each available via this website. Shipping is tabulated automatically at checkout and a final price is provided at the completion of the transaction. Using this shipping option gets the customer the lowest possible cost for most easily managed components and speakers. Because of the number of orders we ship on a weekly basis, we are able to offer pricing that is routinely 15-20% less than if it were purchased outside of our web platform. All things considered, a terrific option. 

 

Freight Shipping: Pilot Freight/Maersk is our preferred freight carrier for orders that present challenging circumstances. Products too large or heavy for standard shipping can be sent by pallet, via freight. Total weight plus packaging, and including accurate dimensions of the stacked pallet, is tabulated and a quote is given based on all completed criteria. Pricing factors include the Client’s full address, pallet dimensions, weight and type of delivery stop, be it residential or commercial.  Payment in-full is required before shipping is purchased and is fully organized by one of our staff. There may be times when a handling charge is warranted. These charges are determined by the type of packaging needed to safely transport the shipment and time involved in securing the packaged items to the pallet.

 

Door-to-Door Transfer: Holt Hill Audio, LLC is fortunate to have forged a relationship with a courier who works with us on personalized delivery options. Our Door-to-Door service costs are determined by a variety of factors including distance, complexity of the load, and the efficiency of the total trip.  In many cases our delivery service is a preferred option over commercial shipping and/or freight. Products are added to a broader manifest and once full, the delivery service sets out on their trek. Our courier will reach out to the Client within 1-2 hours of arrival, and coordinate final logistics directly with the Client. Our courier will unload the purchased items at the curb ensuring the safe transportation of even the most delicate of vintage audio pieces. We are able to send products anywhere in the US if your able to be patient post-purchase, but our most traveled routes are from Maine to the Carolinas, including western Pennsylvania and Ohio. All of this is coordinated on an individual basis, so customers are encouraged to plan this out with one of our HHA staff directly.  Please note, our Courier does not unpack, install, or assemble any equipment as part of this program.

 

Damage Disclaimer:  Please note, we make every possible effort to ensure that all items that are shipped, large or small, regardless of method, are packed carefully and thoroughly. We have shipped many items, many times over.  We know how to properly package items for any kind of journey.  There are times when an item can be damaged in shipping, typically for one of the larger commercial carriers mentioned above.  Holt Hill Audio, LLC bears no responsibility nor liability for any damage that may be incurred during shipping. Further, Holt Hill Audio, LLC makes no claims on the condition of any item purchased through our web site upon arrival at its final destination.   We strive to work out any potential issues with our clients on a one-on-one basis, and our Refund Policy is clearly written.  There are always risks when shipping vintage, especially large, equipment from one place to another.  All users of this site acknowledge these limitations at the time of purchase and indemnify Holt Hill Audio, LLC for any potential losses that may occur during shipping and delivery.
