Following his very first speaker designs in the early 1970s, Dr. Amar Bose started on a new and different path. After an exhaustive study of psychoacoustics and the effects of live performances on individual listening experiences, Bose developed the legendary 901 speaker system.  The crux of the 901 design was the "Direct Reflecting" concept, where two speaker drivers would fire directly at the listening space and another sixteen would fire at the listener's front wall, reflecting sound around the room at random intervals. All of this to mimic the nature of live performance venues.

Fast forward a few years to the development and implementation of this concept in a lineup of several models from large to small, and we have the Bose 6.2 Stereo Everywhere speakers stuck right in the middle.

Featuring an 8" high compliance mid-bass paper cone woofer, and two 3.5" paper cone tweeter/mids, the 6.2 is extremely effective at distributing sound throughout even a rather large room.  Bass response is quick and rounded nicely.  Although not the last word in high frequency response, the highs are very pleasant and really give a broad room-filling sound stage.  In short, the Bose 6.2 deliver on their promise.

This pair are in excellent condition for their age, and ready for a new home, dorm room, or office setup.

Demos are encouraged in Andover, MA.
