Klipsch Reference RC-64, High Output Center Channel Speaker

The Klipsch RC-64 center channel loudspeaker is one of the most important components in a top-of-the-line home theater system.  Hailing from one of audio's most loved brands, the RC-64 pairs perfectly with other Klipsch speakers from this era, or others.  The heavy and long cabinet has a real presence in the room. Originally part of a multi-piece home theater "Package" - of which we have most of it in our showroom - The RC-64 displays wonderful clarity and dynamics, to match with Klipsch's other offerings.  

The RC-64 measures 33 inches across. The elongated wood veneered cabinet features a centrally positioned 1.25" Tractrix horn-loaded titanium tweeter.  Flanking the tweeter are four 6.5" "Cerametallic" hybrid cone woofers, 2 per side.  The composite nature of the cone material reduces unwanted resonances that can sometimes plague metallic diaphragm materials.  The woofers in this case are all  work together within a tightly spring sealed cabinet, filled with internal bracing, to produce accurate sound from 60-21,000 Hz, with particular emphasis on vocal clarity.  Overall, the speaker has a 99dB efficiency rating, an 8 ohm impedance, and 200 watt max RMS power handling. 

The furniture-grade wood finish, cherry in this case, is stunning to look at. The front drivers can be obscured by cloth-covered grilles, but really, you want to see this system working.  

This example has a few bumps and bruises to the wood cabinet along the back edges, see photos for specifics. But overall is in very presentable condition.  The important parts that deliver the sound to your ears are in near perfect condition.
