The No.433 by Mark Levinson was the company's first 3-channel power amplifier. Assembled with the same exacting quality standards and precision craftsmanship as their reference 2-channel and mono amplifiers, the No.433 was intended to support the ever-growing home theater market of the early 2000s. All three channels of the No.433 use the same design architecture and identical circuitry to ensure that sound quality and presentation are a note-for-note match.
The low-noise toroidal transformer powers a bank of low-loss power storage capacitors for the fastest and most accurate release of required power from the three independent channel circuit boards. And the output section of this amplifier is equally stout, with dedicated topologies for both balanced and unbalanced audio signals. Attention to detail is apparent through every nook and crevice of this amplifier and the specifications echo that sentiments as well.
200 watts per channel output into 8 ohms, and double that into 4 ohms with less than 0.5% total harmonic distortion. As a Class-A/AB power amplifier, this amp delivers honest, clean, unfettered audio signal right to your speakers with drive and presence unlike many others that we have seen nor heard.
An absolute feast for your ears!
