The OHM C speaker was Introduced right around 1974.  As the company's first large-format 2-way loudspeaker, the C sports a long-throw 10" woofer with a rigid paper cone construction.  The poly dome 1" tweeter, made by Philips, is a tried-and-true performer from this era.  Providing clean, consistent and realistic high-end, with a low enough resonant frequency to allow it be crossed over at relatively low crossover points.

In its day, the Ohm C, and subsequently the C2, was the company's most successful and most widely known bookshelf speaker. They sold a lot of them!   With a nearly full range response, from 47-20,000 Hz, the Ohm C is a true all-arounder.

We come across these speakers every once in a while and we feel that they are one of the most all-around satisfying speakers of their generation. They look incredible in  real walnut wood veneer, like this example. Physically, these speakers have been extremely well preserved.

Of course, we have gone through them front to back with new woofer foam, upgraded capacitors, and new grille frames built on our CNC-router and covered in a period-style tweed grille fabric.

Barring a small blemish on the top/front corner of one speaker, these speakers are in very clean, presentable condition.
