Pioneer SX-1010 Classic, Fully Serviced, Vintage Receiver

The Pioneer SX-1010 is a classic giant receiver. This amazing, heavy, and HUGE piece of audio history is a real gem and has been completely serviced and cleaned, with large sections of the power supply, amp, and tone control, and preamp boards recapped. The tuner works perfectly and the large graphic display is bright and clear - being backlit by a host of new lamps. Introduced in 1974, this was a jaw-dropper then both in terms of hefty and performance.

Sound from the SX-1010 is clean and powerful. This receiver will power any speaker you plug into it, hands down, and can handle three sets of speakers to allow for use in multiple rooms (Any combination of two out of the three can be played simultaneously).  

The SX-1010 features 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and during these years of the "receiver wars" these pieces were often measured well in excess of their advertised output.  The receiver has a plethora of inputs and outputs to connect all your vintage turntables, reel-to-reel decks, cassettes, 8-tracks, and maybe even a didgeridoo or two!  

The walnut veneered case is in near-flawless condition.

The silver face is nearly flawless with the exception of some scuffs along the diameter of the volume control.

Demos are highly encouraged.  You may not see another 1010 as clean as this one in quite some time.
