Posts provide an external cabinet structure to support top, bottom, side and back panels, and is used as an internal structure to support shelves and drawers. 

The 323 design is also called the "Twin" - two columns of AV storage, approximately 31" tall.  This piece has been customized with open shelving on the right and left and a pull-out drawer on the bottom right.  This orientation allows for excellent flexibility w/r/t equipment placement, as well as great ventilation.
