KEF LS50 Meta Loudspeakers

KEF, originally Kent Engineering & Foundry, has pulled all of the stops to develop the LS50 Meta loudspeaker at an incredibly accessible price-point.  The amount of technology, engineering, and material science used to produce these compact stand-mount speakers is absolutely incredible, and we are trilled to be able to offer them to you.  Pulling technological advances from their halo "Muon", "Blade", and "Reference" exotic speaker lines, the LS50 meta is a mighty performer in a small package.  

The patented KEF Uni-Q driver is the centerpiece of the design both functionally and visually.  Every detail of this driver has been designed to extremely high standards for high output, low distortion, and wide dispersion.  The LS50 Meta demonstrate a broad "sweet spot" to enhance the listening experience and extended low-end performance via the long-throw 6.5" compound magnet driver with "MetaMaterial" rear damping to improve driver stability under extreme loads. The coaxially-mounted tweeter with dispersion fins allows for pin-point imaging and high end brilliance. Everything about this speaker has been considered and optimized, including KEF's specially designed rear-facing "Flex-Port" which minimizes mid-bass distortion while still allowing the lowest frequencies to resonate as intended.
