Atlantic Technology System 170, 6-Speaker Home Theater

Atlantic Technology has been a US-based manufacturer of high-quality, affordably-priced audio for many years. Often utilized as an OEM for other manufacturers, Atlantic will occasionally come out with their own designs, based on market demand and which direction the wind blows.  In this case, AT developed the System 170 in the late 1990s as a compact and attractive home theater system.  

The 6-speaker System 170 consists of the following components:

- Model 171 Left-Right d'Appolito speakers for the main channels

- Model 173C d'Appolito center channel with matched voicing 

- Model 174SR di-pole surround channels

- Model 172BPM powered subwoofer with a 12" woofer and 150 watt on-board amplifier.

The system provides clean and clear sound across the entire frequency spectrum. The small size of each component helps them disappear into a room, both sonically and visually.  And the hefty powered sub fills in the bottom end with great depth.  And the price is just right!
