Audio Concepts, Inc. (ACI) G2 High Performance Speakers - SOLD

Audio Concepts, Inc. (ACI) was founded in 1977 in LaCrosse, WI to develop semi-assembled DIY speaker kits, using well-constructed enclosures, computer-designed networks, and drivers derived from the best in the business.  

Fast forward to 1989, and ACI developed a full catalog of speakers, components, and accessories that could satisfy even the most discerning listeners.  Of these models, the G2, was ACI's Best Seller and slotted right in the middle of the product lineup. A compact floor-standing speaker, the G2 sported a 3-way design with a 1st-order crossover at 900Hz and 6kHz, and high quality internal components and construction.  

The G2 utilizes a 10" poly cone woofer, designed by ACI; a Seas 10FM 4" coated paper cone midrange in it's own damped chamber; and a Seas H398 1" aluminum dome high-output tweeter.

The speakers sound crystal-clear and deliver an exceptional image. Bass response is full and controlled, attributed to the woofer's powerful output and aperiodically-damped enclosure. Midrange and high frequency imaging is excellent -- A real, room-filling speaker that can be articulate when needed.  The original Oak finish looks great too.
