Marantz 6100 Semi-Automatic Vintage Turntable

The 6100 features a 4-pole AC synchronous motor that ensures consistent speed. The turntable is equipped with a S-shaped tonearm designed for precise tracking, featuring adjustable anti-skating, a 0.5 to 4.0g tracking force range, and hydraulic, oil-damped cueing for gentle record handling. Known for a warm, analog sound signature, the 6100 is built with a sturdy plinth—in this case with walnut veneer—and includes a specially designed, anti-static rubber mat to reduce dust attraction. Its semi-automatic operation requires a manual set-down, but provides an automatic tonearm lift and stop at the end of the record.

Near perfect example of this much sought after vintage table. Some swirling on the dust cover commensurate with age. Motor is solid and the platter turns on speed. Comes complete w/Grado Moving Magnet cart with a brand new stylus installed and calibrated -- A plug and play vintage table; just beautiful in every way.

(*Note: Mostly functionally excellent, the auto-return mechanism will sometimes not quite return all the way to the tonearm rest.  The arm lift remains up when this happens so no damage can occur to the stylus.  This happens once every 5 or 6 plays.  Priced accordingly.)
