Marantz TT-15S1, Belt Drive Turntable

We are always looking for superbly-built, and quantifiably excellent values in audio.  The Marantz TT-15S1 is one such value.  This turntable looks simplistic, but the engineering behind it is rather impressive, and the result is an excellent piece of equipment ready to send you into vinyl-lover's bliss for many yers to come. 

Starting with the turntable's uniquely-shaped, nearly resonant-free resin plinth and platter and custom-designed isolation feet: the table clearly has a strong foundation. Couple that with Marantz's own belt-driven design and floating motor assembly, and you have a quiet start to ensure the rest of the table is able to extract music from the groove as efficiently as possible. The lightweight anodized aluminum tone arm it designed to work specifically with the provided Clearaudio Virtuoso Ebony Moving Magnet cartridge. The cartridge value alone is $900 retail.  Marantz engineers hand-selected this cartridge for its compliance and ability to drive detail into the music. 

The whole package is very special.  The turntable comes shipped complete, but with some assembly required.  The translucent white plinth has a unique appeal and blends in with any decor.
