Tung Sol has been making this EL84/6BQ5 for over 60yrs and this tube & brand has garnered a cult-like following. Excellent midrange, snappy "alive" vibrant sound. Crisp and resolute - everything you would want in a tube amp. Not exactly lush and romantic - just the facts, please! Don't confuse these new issue EL84.
