Rega Jupiter Top-Loading CD Player - SOLD

Released about 10 years ago, the Rega Jupiter CD player retailed for nearly $2,000 and was entering into a very questionable and competitive market.  Digital, streaming audio formats were still being developed and CD was still at the top of the heap in terms of hifi audio playback.  Rega threw everything that they could unto the Jupiter, to develop a unique, high performance CD player, at an entry-level hi-end price point.

This unit, in silver, comes complete with the remote control.  The top loading function allows for greater stabilization of the disc, reducing jitter, and improving overall sound  quality.  The challenge with CD is the present music as realistically as possible, without sounding "choppy" or "grainy" - the Jupiter provides clean and convincing music, without negative digital artifacts.
