In Simplex, accurate RIAA equalization to within 0.5dB is achieved by combining multiple audiophile polypropylene capacitors. Using several capacitors – compared to the traditional utilization of a single capacitor – not only achieves greater accuracy but grants an added benefit in that the capacitors act as mutual bypasses for each other, thus minimizing the dissipation factor and the effects of parasitic elements such as dielectric absorption. Careful track routing on the printed circuit board preserves signal integrity, as star earthing and the use of components on both sides of the board achieve a compact circuit with minimum loop area for low inductance. Furthermore, multiple stages of power supply filteringcrush power-supply noise, while the external power-supply unit positioned away from the audio circuit prevents direct cross-coupling of noise.

As a result, Simplex plays with an eerie quiet, allowing you enjoy recordings without the distraction of electronic circuit noise, hum, or buzz. Just like vinyl playback was meant to sound.
