Yamaha NS-670 Monitors - SOLD

Beautiful pair of Yamaha NS-670 Monitors. These are truly one of our all time favorites. Their acoustic lineage to the bigger & more famous NS-1000 & NS-690 is strong and quite similar in their overall presentation. The tweeters and domed silk midrange drivers on these are some of the most accurate made by any manufacturer, ever! The detail and precision in which they perform is striking. The 10" bass driver is fast, accurate and highly rhythmic. The lower registers are punchy/crisp and although they may not dig down to the deepest depth, Yamaha was opting for accuracy over presence.

This pair of NS-670s are very clean... they came to us having been at one time painted grey, yikes! but we stripped them down to the bare real wood veneer and refinished them to original spec and appearance. Perfect grills with all pegs intact. Upgraded binding posts for better coupling vs the original spring loaded units. These Yamahas are just wonderful and yet another example of a hidden hifi gem.
