The Pioneer CT-F950 is a 2-channel, stereo compact cassette recorder featuring a 3-head system with combination record/playback head, bias control mechanism, microprocessor control and Dolby noise reduction.

Sub-functions of the deck include a fluorescent tube level meter, fluorescent tape counter, bias fine adjust, memory stop/play, counter repeat and input selector.

When the dust settled from the cassette deck wars of the late 70s-early 80s, there were 3 manufacturers making arguably the best units of their time. This Pioneer CT-F950 was among the most desirable design/performance decks available. This particular unit has been totally restored to spec by our in-house analog tape expert and is a stunner in recording/playback prowess and in the visual department, it's a killer! This deck has been lovingly taken care of as evidenced in it's overall appearance with just the slightest signs of normal wear. A natural pre-owned patina... every recording this deck ever made is a story unto itself.
