The Pioneer SA-520 is a seemingly simple solid state integrated amplifier.  Despite being released in the "more is more" era of electronics from 1981-1982, the SA-520 has an understated look and size.  It's fairly compact, at only less than 4-inches in height.  And the easy-to-read and simple front panel display gives you just the right amount of info, but nothing in excess.  Capable of powering two sets of speakers, the amp provides power output of 32 watts per channel into 8 ohms.  This power could be split between two sets of 8 ohm speakers for multi-room use if needed.

Known for its warm, vintage-like sound, the SA-520 is possibly the last of the era of vintage "silver-faced" gems.  Read for analog playback, the amp features inputs for Tuner, Phono, Tape 1, Tape 2/Record, and Aux.  Rotary controls for volume, balance, bass and treble give this piece a great tactile feel. And Loudness control adds a little extra boost when needed for low-level listening. The fluoroscan digital display is a really nice 1980s touch.

This particular unit is available with the original box and can easily be shipped.  It has been completely revived by our in-house tech, biased, cleaned, and is ready for many more years of listening.
