Phantom Ultimate 108dB

When the Devialet Phantom was first released in 2014, it was the result of over 10 years of research and development by 40 cross-disciplinary professionals: engineers, industrial designers, acousticians, material scientists, etc.  The result was a product that redefined what it meant to be "high end" in the hifi audio world.  The Phantom was, and still is, capable of providing an engaging, dynamic and powerful listening experience - across a multitude of musical genres - without the traditional stack of high priced audio gear.  

The Phantom Ultimate 108dB is the continuation of this new tradition.  Available in two varieties, the 103dB and 108dB versions, the basic premise between these models is the same - uncompromising sound. The Phantom Ultimate 108dB is available in three exquisite colors, Deep Forest, Light Pearl, and Ópera de Paris Goldleaf.  The odd, pill-like shape and simplistic color options belie an incredibly complicated and sophisticated collection of design and engineering. 

As a 3-way speaker, the Phantom Ultimate 108dB employs spherically shaped tweeter, midrange and woofer drivers.  The overall driver arrangement and spheroid-shaped enclosure create an almost perfect point-source for the purest acoustic qualities possible.  The enclosure's surface minimizes unwanted high frequency diffraction.  And the twin-opposing woofers maximize the efficiency of the on-board 1,100 watt amplification with DSP to produce unprecedented amounts of bass without any "boxiness" from a traditional enclosure. 

The speaker produces measured frequency response from 14-35,000 Hz.  WOW. 

The number of technologies used in this system is an alphabet soup. ADH, SBM, HBI, EVO, ACE -- They all come together in an awe-inspiring package. 

Finally, the Devialet App makes setup and playback a breeze.  It's intuitive and allows for a single Phantom, a stereo pair, or a multi-speaker surround array to be programmed into your space.
