The Gold Note DS-10 is a compact yet remarkably versatile digital source component from Florence, Italy, designed to deliver the brand’s signature blend of musical warmth, technical precision in a beautifully crafted package. More than just a DAC, the DS-10 functions as a high-resolution digital-to-analog converter, dedicated network streamer, line preamplifier, and high-quality headphone amplifier—all housed within a sleek, elegantly machined aluminum chassis.

At its heart is a state-of-the-art DAC architecture capable of handling PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz, native DSD (up to DSD512), and full MQA decoding. This digital engine is supported by a carefully designed analog stage and Gold Note’s proprietary circuitry, ensuring natural tonality, dynamic ease, and engaging detail. The DS-10’s network streaming capabilities include Roon Ready certification, TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, AirPlay, and UPnP/DLNA, offering seamless integration into modern digital ecosystems. Connectivity is generous, with multiple digital inputs (USB, coaxial, optical, AES/EBU, Ethernet) and both single-ended and balanced analog outputs.

Beyond its DAC and streaming duties, the DS-10 also incorporates a dedicated Class-A headphone amplifier with adjustable output settings, allowing it to comfortably drive a wide range of headphones. The unit’s configurable output stage parameters (such as selectable filters and adjustable “chameleon” sound shaping) give listeners the freedom to tailor playback to their preferences—whether absolute neutrality or a touch of added warmth.

The DS-10 is available in three colors and two technical variations:

• DS-10 Line - This variant offers full analog line-stage preamplifier capabilities in addition to the digital side.  Essentially rendering this streamer into full preamp duties. 
• DS-10 (Base) - All of the digital goodness listed above, without the analog side.
