Where the PH-5 offered excellent flexibility and dynamism for a considerable value, the PH-5.2 extends that level of value with even further improved internal components.  Starting with a quieter and more robust internal power supply.  The power supply is the foundation of any high performance machine, whether related to audio or not.  Without a solid foundation, nothing downstream can work properly nor with precision.  The PH-5.2 power supply has been completely rethought.  It's bigger, quieter, and delivers effortless power to all internal components when needed.

The PH5.2's touch screen interface has also been improved and the multiple EQ settings that many have considered synonymous with Gold Note's pedigree will remain.

With a single RCA unbalanced input, it can be connected to either MM or MC cartridges and offers an EQ curve selection similar to the PH-10 (RIAA, Decca London and American Columbia, with Enhanced options on all three).  The user also has nice load settings (from 10Ω to 47kΩ) and four gain adjustments (0dB, ± 3dB, +6dB) to guarantee superior flexibility and versatility for every kind of vinyl system.

This phono preamp also features both balanced and unbalanced outputs for connection flexibility.
