T-5 Turntable

The Gold Note T5 turntable is the one of the best entry points into the world of vinyl available. The T5 might have an entry price, but it is built with the same precision, care, and standards as evident in Gold Note's much more complex models.  Every detail of this turntable has been carefully examined to give the listening a dynamic and engaging listening experience. 

The first thing one will notice with the T-5 is simple black plinth. For the T-5, Gold Note engineers developed a 15mm thick platter made of "ultra-clear" glass, a high quality material that provides the right density and structure to extract fine details from the groove while minimizing noise. The platter is matched with an inverted bearing, an elegant solution to increase the stability of the platter while also ensuring frictionless rotation.  The included 12v synchronous motor is exact and quiet. 

The plinth uses 1-inch thick HDF, a high-density composite material that’s strong and light. The plinth is further refined by removing material at strategic points (around the motor, the bearing and the edges) to create a shape that minimizes resonance by breaking the transmission pattern of vibrations.

Available with an elegant black lacquer finish, it comes with Gold Note's acclaimed B-5.2 tone arm and also includes removable transparent acrylic dust cover.  Add a cartridge of your choosing, and this table is ready to roll pretty much out of the box. 

Of course, the Gold Note Donatello series of HOMC or LOMC options are the perfect match for this table and arm, but other carts match up equally well.
