Heaven11 Audio Billie Classic, Mk3

The Heaven11 Audio “Billie” Hybrid Integrated Digital Amplifier is an audio powerhouse in a compact, gorgeous case, and Holt Hill Audio is proud to be their first North American partner and reseller. Built in Montreal, Canada, the Billie’s modern aesthetic and minimalistic design belie the power underneath.  

For 2025, Billie Mk3 has been completely redesigned, once again, inside and out.  The chassis has been improved for more consistent build quality, and better heat dissipation.  Heaven11 decided to provide user-selectable upgrade options which gives Billie owners even more control over their listening experience.  Amp modules, DACs, Phono cards, and headphone cards can all be modified, along with the usual aesthetic changes and upgraded "Gold Pin" JJ tubes.

Starting with the amplifier modules, owners can now choose between the familiar ICEPower design, or a newly designed board based on the Hypex chip.

The Hypex NC252MP chip (+$249) offers 250 watts per channel of crisp clean power that is versatile enough to handle challenging speaker loads and still offer a very transparent/neutral listening experience.

The ICEPower 200AS2 puts out 215 watts per channel and has been described as having a robust, warm sound with a wider soundstage. Perfect for slightly more efficient speakers that might need a little high frequency taming. 

The Billie's DAC can be improved on with the Performance DAC Module (+$249), which evolves the potent ES9039-based board into a full dual-mono DAC using twin ES9039 chips and all the necessary peripherals.  The Performance DAC lowers the noise floor considerably, and improves detail and realism.

Not to be left out, the on-board headphone amp has also been improved, with an upgrade path available. Designed for ultra-low distortion, the included headphone amp works well with a wide variety of headphones.  The upgraded Performance Headphone Amp (+$99) also delves into a dual-mono design, with greater power, lower noise floor, and capability of driving challenging 600 ohm studio headsets.  

The preamp side has been improved as well, while still maintaining the smoothness of the Billie's tube character.  Tubes are now able to handle twice the preamp voltage, the result is even more linear preamp response and increased gain.  To go with this improvement, the volume control has been fine tuned for optimal results with no noise. 

Billie makes average recordings sound great, and good recordings sound amazing. Billie also includes six inputs of the following varieties: 2 analog, 1 phono, 1 Bluetooth AptX 5.1 direct input, 1 Optical (TOSLINK) digital input, and 1 Coax digital input that can handle 32/192 resolution via Billie's on-board DAC.

The onboard MM phono stage is very musical and clean. The equalization hides nothing and brings out all of the detail your cart can manage. The phono stage has also been improved. 

Finally, the amp features volume attenuated pre-outs to allow you to use it as a stand-alone pre-amp, or with a pair of powered subwoofers. Oh, and an ultra-quiet remote control is also included.

Available in two finishes: Silver and Black. Please specify in an email which color way you prefer. 

Custom knob finishes are available on request and can be made from a variety of wood species as well as some stone (marble, etc.)
