Opera Prima

The Opera Prima is a the smallest in the Classica Series, but performs like a small giant.  The 6.5" aluminum cone woofer and 1" soft dome tweeter are merged by a high-quality 2-way crossover set to 2,000 Hz.  With a low crossover point and low tweeter resonant frequency, the speaker is able to deliver upper midrange vocals and instrumental music without critical interruption in the midrange. 

In addition to careful attention to the sound, the Prima, like all Opera speakers, is built exceptionally well.  Using only the finest woods and accessories such as Mundorf crossover capacitors.  Each cabinet is built like a fine piece of Italian furniture.  Every corner of an Opera speaker feels like old-country quality. 

With only a 10 liter internal volume, the Prima is compact and suitable for small to mid-sized rooms without a subwoofer.  The front port allows for placement near walls or on a book case, but we advise the use of dedicated stands to improve imaging as much as possible.
