Quinta v2.0

The Opera Classica series is completely redesigned for 2025.  New driver orientations, new crossover designs, a new lineup, and a whole new look compliment this wonderful brand.  The result is a line of four stunning speakers, built by hand to exceptional standards, from deep in the heart of Italy.

The Quinta v2.0 is the flagship design for the Classica Line.  Two 9" aluminum cone woofers by Scanspeak work together in a tall, slender bass reflex enclosure.  Twin rear tuned ports have been located to the back of the cabinet to reduce noise from turbulence.  A 6" coated fiberglass composite midrange driver provides dedicated mid response, essential to capturing the nuance and impact of vocals and orchestral material.  A 1" coated soft dome tweeter merges seamlessly with the midrange thanks to a simplistic, high-quality 3-way crossover is constructed with only top-shelf components and designed with a low crossover point.  With a low crossover point and low tweeter resonant frequency, the speaker is able to deliver upper midrange vocals and instrumental music without critical interruption in the midrange. 

The Quinta v2.0 is built using the finest woods and accessory materials such as Mundorf M-Cap crossover capacitors.  Each cabinet is built like a fine piece of Italian furniture.  Every corner of an Opera speaker feels like old-country quality. 

The new Opera Quinta represents a significant evolution of the previous model. Thanks to a detailed study of each component, we surpassed the sensitivity limit of 87-88 dB, reaching as high as 91 dB, thereby ensuring excellent dynamics and very linear performance even at high signal levels. This allows good drivability even with lower-powered amplifiers.

The new design prioritizes listening experience over standard measurements, which often fail to capture many of the audiophile qualities we consider essential.
