Audio Research Corporation, LS-1 - All Of what ARC Has To Offer!

So, here we have an exceptional Audio Research Corporation, LS-1 Hybrid Tube Linestage. Fabulous low end and source signal dynamics along with amazing resolution. This component was developed and manufactured in early 1990’s and retailed at the time for over $2K.

The LS-1 has a direct/normal switch that allows user to bypass all controls except the volume control for ultra pure sound. It will pair well with both tube and solid state amps and was tested paired with a Bryston, 3B power package; sweet pairing for sure!

It is has exceptional cosmetics with only the slightest signs of normal wear. Complete with a Genalex, 6922/E88CC tube with low hrs. You can install any E88CC tube which allows the user to tailor the sound to match their system. We have great results with Telefunken E88CC tubes that are colorful & great too.

Interestingly, as we climb the ARC ladder here at the shop, other more expensive units didn't drastically sound better but mostly offered a different sound perspective and mostly minor improvements in soundstage. The build quality is typical Audio Research which is to say built like a tank with beautiful circuit layout that uses Litz wiring and high quality capacitors w/a robust regulated power supply. Fully gone through& serviced by our expert tech staff and ready to play amazingly in the next owners setup.
