The Music Hall C-DAC 15.3 is a versatile piece of digital equipment in a compact package.  Starting with a high-efficiency toroidal transformer to ensure consistent  power delivery to downstream components, the C-DAC 15.3 exudes quality. The dampened chassis, individually mounted processing boards, as well as isolated, mid-chassis  tray mechanism ensure quiet operation.  CDs are decoded with an acclaimed and well-reviewed Burr Brown PCM 1796 24-bit/192kHz DAC, supported by a Wolfson WM8805 jitter suppression chip. 

What makes this CD player unique at this price point is that Roy Hall decided to use the Burr Brown's processing capability in other ways: allowing the user to input digital sources via rear-mounted optical, coax, and USB-B inputs.  The jacks are selectable from the player's on-screen menu.   The display's white-on-blue design is easy to read and easy on the eyes.  And the full-function remote makes using this unit a breeze.
