Ohm Acoustics Corp was formed in the early 1970s by a group of audio entrepreneurs that reads like a "who's who" of vintage audio.  With the goal of replicating, as realistically as possible, the sound of a live performance, this group set out to create a speaker that produced an omni-directional sound, but with enough clarity and precision to satisfy the most discerning listeners.  The Ohm Walsh inverted cone driver shocked the audio world when the concept was introduced, with a full-range system that could dynamically reproduce the entire audible frequency spectrum, with clarity, from one driver.

Fast-forward about a decade later, and the Ohm Walsh series proceeded with adaptations on the original, and famous Walsh-F systems; with a hybrid approach that could mimic the same result using conventional components.  The Walsh 4 was one such design. Using an inverted 8" poly cone woofer, and angle-mounted 1" cloth dome mid-tweeter, the Walsh 4 produces room-filling sound that is punchy, realistic, and a thrill to enjoy.

This set of Walsh 4 have been restored, with new driver foam, and a fresh refinish of the original oak wood veneer.  Although the speakers have sustained a few minor bumps and bruises over the years, the overall condition is very presentable.  Placement of these speakers is relatively easy, with three adjustment dials on the rear of the enclosure for high, mid, and low frequency tweaks to suit your listening space.
