Onkyo Integra TA-2066 Cassette Deck, 3-head, 3-motor, Dolby, loaded!

Onkyo is one of those brands that is often forgotten in the conversation of 1980s receivers for this reason. Originally formed in 1946 to create Japan's finest loudspeakers, the company quickly emerged as a comparative value player in hifi components as well. It can be argued that Onkyo's peak popularity occurred in the late 1980s with their high-powered "Integra" line of amplifiers and complimentary components.

The TA-2066 cassette player/recorder was designed in 1983 to compete with the "big boys" of high end audio. The 3-head, 3-motor, direct drive cassette player had features and functionality found on much more expensive decks from Nakamichi or Tascam, but at a much more reasonable price point. The large push buttons, clear LED display, and incredible sound quality were hallmarks of Onkyo's Integra line for a few years following.

This unit is in excellent condition and has been completely serviced by our tech. All controls have been cleaned, and has been verified for many more years of trouble-free operation.
