Sansui TU-666 "The Devil's Tuner"

It's no secret that we at HHA are big fans of classic Sansui electronics. Every piece we've come across is interesting and a performance champ. There is no debating the synergy that 70's Sansui receivers had with JBL speaker systems; amazing pairings like the AU-9500/JBL L-65 Jubal is the stuff of legend. We are FIRMLY in this camp but all things Sansui are and should be and experienced at least once along one's audio journey.

Here we have the very cool and rare Vintage Sansui TU-666 Fm/Am Analog Tuner with back lit meter and dial, stereo beacon, round analog dial in a nicely patina'd wood cabinet. Incomparable vintage 70s Sansui design, craftsmanship & attention to detail. As always, parts quality, fit & finish, sound package and performance is top flight. It's  in beautiful well cared for working condition, locks in stations strongly with the stereo beacon illuminated and It has a very nice smooth detailed analogue sound - dimensional and involving/ natural and musical.

This 666 has been re-calibrated and fully tested - it plays wonderfully and pulls in stations strong & clear. Has some light blemishes on the wood cabinet but all and all, very presentable. It is a smaller piece being 13"s wide and 5.5"s tall and was made to accompany the AU-666. The Devil's Tuner - just amazingly cool!
