Clayton Shaw is a highly respected audio engineer and speaker designer. Hailing from Park City, Utah, Clayton hit the audio circles in the early 2000s with the Emerald Acoustics line of open baffle, coaxially driven speakers that utilized genius levels of DSP-based equalization, professional high efficiency drivers, and exceptional build quality. After Emerald, Clayton started Spatial Audio Lab building from the same principles as the Emerald line, but without the complex DSP assist. In addition the Clayton Shaw Audio Lab was started to research other aspects of the audiophile experience...Cables being one key component.
The Quantum Field Speaker Cables were designed in partnership with Canadian company, Anticables, but formulated specifically to Clayton's wishes. The "wide-stranded", coated, oxygen free copper conduits utilize many of the same principles that made Anticables famous. The larger gauge strands and high purity copper, combined with Spatial's tight weave, reduce skin effect to negligible levels, are inherently low capacitance, and have been lauded by critics for their clarity and realism.
Here we have a set of 1 meter Quantum Field Cables, terminated with an ultra-durable high-contact-surface banana plug adapter. Wonderfully crafted and remarkably transparent.
$149/pair (We have only one 1m pair of speaker cables at the moment)
