Advent Graduate, Vintage Bookshelf Speakers - SOLD

The Advent Graduate speaker was designed as a modernized replacement for Advent’s massively successful “Smaller Advent” which was introduced in 1969 and sold by the many thousands. Featuring an 8” long-throw woofer in a sealed acoustic suspension enclosure, and 3/4” polyamide tweeter, the Graduate become another in a classic line of speakers from Henry Kloss’s former company.  Sliding in between the Prodigy and Baby lines, familiarized with their solid Pecan wood top and bottom trim pieces, the Graduate was a giant step un from the compact Baby.  The same tweeter as the Baby, the highs and clean and smooth.  The 8" woofer produces solid bass.  Overall a very enjoyable package. 

This set of Graduates have new internal crossover capacitors improved midrange clarity at the crossover point. The woofer has been properly re-foamed for many more years of enjoyment.
