OK Audio Enthusiasts, here we have the AUDIO NOTE AN/e in natural Baltic Birch... This being the much desired Audio Note AN/e Kit iconic speaker system. High-efficiency in-room rated 98db (so a very easy load), upgraded with silver voice coils, matched & calibrated drivers and crossovers, solid Baltic Birch Audio Note cabinets in extraordinary condition. This particular set has been loving built and enjoyed by a former Audio Note tech and come from the Richard K collection of fine audio... yep, he's the gift that keeps on giving. The cabinets natural are finished very nicely with several coats of clear lacquer and are without blemish. These AN/e are exactly the same as the current Kit 3 with the exception of hemp woofers. The sound differences are relatively minor, if at all, and the builder favored the simple paper cone's presentation to the Hemp driver. The kits, with the cabinets, today sell for about $4000 (plus shipping from Canada).

These speakers are very hard to beat in terms of musicality. Factory Audio Note speakers of the same quality level would set you back about $8000 manly due to the exotic cabinet finishes. These have also just been re-foamed with AN appropriate foam surrounds and have been extensively tested and run through. They are breathtakingly great. Paired today with an Octave Audio, V40SE (40 watt KT88 valve amp) they are amazing a pure joy to experience.
