audiolab 6000A & 6000N, Amp & Streamer Combo!

The Audiolab 6000A is a compact, stylish, and tech-packed integrated amplifier from a company known for packing a ton of features into their products.  In addition to 50 watts per channel of power into 8 ohms (75 wpc into 4 ohm), the 6000A adds 4 analog line-level inputs, an MM phono input, and stereo preamp output, allowing it to be used as a preamp as well.  Add to that, the 6000A has a digital side.   Sporting a renown ESS 9018 Sabre32 Reference DAC to the mix allows this little wonder to handle 32/192 digital formats as well.  Two optical and two coaxial inputs make the connections to your digital sources.  Finally, Bluetooth AptX is added for convenience. 

Not to be outdone by their competitors, Audiolab created the 6000N, the perfect companion piece to the 6000A, but also a uniquely high performing streamer/DAC in its own right.  Using DTS-Play as the streaming platform of choice, the 6000N connects to your wired or wireless network, tablet or PC via USB, and NAS drives.  Utilizing the same acclaimed ES9018 chipset as the 6000A, the 6000N adds a more sophisticate Time Domain Jitter Eliminator and improved power supply for an even lower noise floor and reduced THD. 

This combo looks and plays wonderfully.  The silver aluminum finish is clean, sophisticated and timeless.  Audiolab thankfully held onto the clean and uncluttered aesthetic appeal that made them famous over 40 years ago. 

Sound is equally clean and uncluttered, with a hint of warmth. A quintessential British sound that pairs perfectly with Celestion CL6, Acoustic Energy AE1, or KEF 102.  

This system is barely used and barely even out of the box. (One might even say that they were removed from their boxes for the sole purpose of writing this ad...They are THAT clean.)
