"The CR75 immediately registered itself as a good rock speaker in my book, providing a decent wallop of bass, clear mid frequencies, and a slightly forward-sounding high end that helped to convey the snap of the drum kit and plucked acous tic-guitar strings on the Beth Orton track. The vocals sounded slightly sibilant on both Orton and the Goldfrapp, however. when pushed to loud volumes, the sax on particular tracks soared. Midrange is smooth and clear. Voices sound like, well, voices!
Imaging was good, although it lagged behind some of the other much more expensive speakers here. There was a decent sense of width on the Massive Attack and we liked its ability to convey weight. The dynamic performance was also good, bringing to light the crescendos in this song with only a minimum of audible effort. All things considered, I'm sure that the Boston's clarity, combined with its better-than-average bass, will please a good number of listeners for certain" - and here, for $150 dollars, they are almost impossible to beat. These CR75s are in very nice condition and have minimal signs of wear. Just a great little speaker for short money. Winners!
