The ELAC SUB1010 is a compact, budget-focused powered subwoofer designed to deliver low-frequency reinforcement in small to medium-sized listening spaces or desktop setups. It features a front-firing 10-inch driver constructed from textured polypropylene, housed within a stiff MDF cabinet that is durable and functional. The enclosure employs a bass-reflex design, enhanced by a dual-flared rear port that reduces air noise and turbulence to provide cleaner, more punchy bass down to approximately 37 Hz.

Internally, the SUB1010 is powered by a Class AB amplifier rated at 60 Watts RMS, capable of reaching 120 Watts peak power. This amplification is optimized for efficiency and tight control over the driver, aiming for natural sound reproduction rather than excessive, room-shaking output.

While not intended for high-SPL (Sound Pressure Level) home theater applications, its performance is highly regarded for music reproduction in smaller systems.

The subwoofer is highly versatile regarding integration, offering both line-level (RCA) stereo inputs and high-level speaker inputs, allowing compatibility with various amplifiers and receivers.
