If you are looking for the most bodacious 1970s tuner, preamp, and amplifier stack, you have come to the right place. This is IT!  What we have here is a Harman Kardon Citation series combo with all of the groovy guts and glory that a a late-70s hi-fi powerhouse system should have.  In keeping with H/K's reputation for excellence and the Citation sub-brand, these components were designed as if they were lab instruments.  Each piece uses only discrete circuits, no modern ICs here.  The sound is extremely transparent, across all 3 units.

The Citation 19 power amp is the crown jewel.  With 100 watts per channel of nearly distortion-free power, a beefy "dual-mono" internal power supply, and crazy cool bouncing LED lights to assure you that the music is bumpin'.

The Citation 18 stereo FM tuner has exceptional reception, a killer white display, and a funky-modern space-age like appearance.  The tuning section has been completely checked for accuracy and strength.  For as long as we still have FM broadcasts, this tuner will pull them in.

The Citation 17 preamp is feature-packed, extremely clean sounding, and cut from the same precision layout and componentry as the power amp and tuner. With a 5Hz to 125kHz frequency response and .001% total harmonic distortion, this preamp is beyond clean... It's clinically clean.  The 5-band graphic equalizer is a neat feature that can also be bypassed to retain sonic purity when needed. As an added bonus, the preamplifier uses a DIN-type umbilical cord to loop to the Citation 19 amplifier and provide the ability for A/B speaker connectivity.

This setup, released in 1975, paired with our space-age Technics SB-7000A "Robot" speakers, is a killer combo.  Thee components will be sold together, and will include their original factory packaging and any accessories that we have for them.

Demos are of course encouraged in Lawrence, MA
