JBL's Venue Series "Arena" bookshelf speakers offer an affordable and reliable option for both 2-channel audio and surround sound systems. Each 2-way cabinet features a 6-inch "PolyPlas" low-frequency woofer paired with a 3/4-inch titanium-laminate dome tweeter. They use an Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal waveguide to spread sound evenly across the room and create a wider listening sweet spot.
These small wonders deliver a frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz and handle up to 70 watts of continuous power. A rear-mounted "FreeFlow" flared bass port keeps bass notes clean and prevents distortion at higher listening levels. Overall, they provide a punchy, clear sound profile for budget-conscious music and movie fans.
A really nice budget option for someone looking to start up their first 2-channel analog setup.  Great for a spare room, dorm room, or small office, these speakers can fill nearly any space with fun music.
