KEF iQ90 Mini-Tower Speakers, Crystal Clean Sound

KEF speakers are known the world over for exceptional quality and innovative designs.  In 2008, KEF introduced the iQ line, a further refinement of their patented "Uni-Q" tweeter and midrange concept which puts a dome midrange at the center of a mid-bass driver for seamless time alignment and integration.  The additional of KEF's "Tangerine" waveguide in front of the concentric arrangement improved stereo imaging by controlling the waveform immediately after the dome's surface.  

The iQ90 were the top of the range. A full three-way system, the iQ90 used twin 6.5" poly cone woofers in a "labyrinth" enclosure to properly tune low frequency response.  The result is clean, tight, and deep bass. At the time, the iQ90 were the crown jewel of many people's home theater systems. Today, whether used for h/t or standard 2-channel listening, the iQ90 hold their own.  Instruments sound "right" and midrange presence is projected with the same familiar British sound being have grown to love. 

These iQ90 are in excellent physical condition. A few very minor marks to the top casework, commensurate with a speaker roughly 15 years old. Overall the Black Ash finish looks great from all angles.  They sound perfect and perform flawlessly.
