Klipsch Chorus Series 1 & SW15 Powered Companion, Oak Beauties!

The Klipsch Chorus was introduced in 1987 and ran though 1990. It was later replaced by the series II which ultimately ran until 1996. The Chorus was the 1st generation large-format three-way design for customers wanting the benefits of Klipsch's game changing horn designs, but in a smaller footprint than the massive Cornwall.  The Chorus was a huge hit and this speaker system paved the way for the big, efficient albeit more user friendly horn designs.

The Chorus loudspeaker delivers an exceptionally "big" sound in any room. The speakers excel at complex musical compositions, blues, jazz, rock...Well, really any musical genre you can think of. The efficient high-frequency and midrange Tractrix horn drivers, as well as the reliable 15" low-frequency woofer work together to create a very smooth low distortion, dynamic sound.

While no longer in production, Chorus speakers are still owned and listened to by Klipsch fans around the world. The basic premise hasn't changed since day one and know, they STILL sound incredible. A true classic speaker design and platform, own these with pride and every now and then, let them off their chain for a serious dose of BIG 80's performance. 

For those who want even more SLAM, we are pairing these speakers with a matching Klipsch SW15 powered subwoofer.  The SW15 features an on-board 150 watt power plant to push around a long-throw, high mass 15" woofer.  Coupled with a rear-facing 15" passive radiator, this box gets to the low places the Chorus can't on their own.  

All three pieces have some minor bumps and bruises from years of hard work and hard play... But no "show stoppers."  Overall, the oak veneer presents well, grille cloth is in very good condition, and we added heavy-duty casters to the towers to enhance their industrial appeal.
