The Klipsch Reference Subwoofer R-SW12 is designed to provide deep, engaging bass for any system, small to large.  The front-firing hybrid IMG/aluminum cone 12" woofer has a long-throw motor to allow for an immense amount of air mass movement.  The on-board power amplifier uses the latest in Class-D circuitry for 400 watts of output power.  Th unit is equipped with an adjustable low-pass filter, gain control, phase control, and remote sensing standby operation. 

This sub definitely delivers the goods.  It brings in the lowest octave and a half of audio or movie material into any room effortlessly (-3dB at 29 Hz).  The design is low-noise, high-powered, and easy to integrate to any speaker system, whether multi-channel or stereo only.
