At its core, the MC152 utilizes McIntosh's proprietary output “Autoformers” -  Specially designed output transformers that ensure the correct power output is being delivered to the speaker, regardless of impedance. The amplifier also includes Mac’s ThermalTrak output transistors for lower distortion and cooler operation, along with Power Guard® circuitry that prevents clipping and protects your speakers. It features both balanced and unbalanced inputs, making it versatile enough to match with any preamplifier. 

Visually stunning, the MC152 features the iconic black glass front panel, brushed aluminum end-caps, and signature blue VU-meters that, today, symbolize unmatched audio quality.
