Nordost QX4 AC Power Purifier

The Nordost QX4 is a sophisticated AC power purifier designed to alleviate the detrimental effects of poor-quality power on sensitive high-fidelity electronics without compromising peak current capability or grounding integrity. Utilizing Quantum Resonant Technology (QRT), the QX4 employs four field generators that actively manipulate the electrical environment, reducing EMI/RFI interference and minimizing timing errors within the AC waveform.

Housed in a mechanically tuned aluminum chassis that provides superior resonance control, this unit is engineered to be placed between the wall receptacle and the system's power distribution bar, such as the Nordost QBASE where it works optimally to "field-treat" the power.

By lowering the noise floor and improving the coherence of the electrical supply, the QX4 enhances musical performance, providing deeper soundstages, improved image separation, and increased dynamic range. Its modular design allows it to be used in conjunction with other Nordost QRT products—such as Qv2 and Qk1 units—to further optimize performance, effectively acting as a "field stabilizer" that enhances the overall musicality and fluidity of the system, rather than acting as a traditional, current-restricting filter.
