Performer s800 Stereo Amplifier

The SPL Performer s800 might be the company's smaller stereo power amplifier, but it contains within it all of the same exceptional features found on their larger and more expensive products.  The Performer s800 features individual amplification stages for voltage and power amplification, which ensures a perfect operation of the internal Class-AB amplifier circuit.  Thanks to each stage’s own negative feedback path, loudspeaker feedback base don shifting impedance values are unable to interact with the input stage.

This circuit detail paves the way for the SPL "VOLTAiR" Technology can play out its full performance.  The 120V VOLTAiR power rail is SPL's proprietary design. With an extremely high 120v DC rail voltage of 120 volts -  four times that of most IC-based semiconductor op-amps - The result is unsurpassed transistor performance.  Every signal passes through more cleanly, with faster transient response, and reduced overall signal lag.  The 120V technology achieves exceptional technical specifications and sonic benefits. Technically, in terms of dynamic range, signal-to-noise ratio and headroom. 

The result of all of this internal tech, is a compact and high powered amplifier - yielding total power amplification of 285 wpc into 4Ω (185 wpc into 8Ω) or 450w into 8Ω in Bridge Mode. This amplifier easily controls any loudspeaker. Thanks to VOLTAiR technology, it is fast, precise and highly efficient with outstanding sound.
